As a dual-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and family nurse practitioner (FNP-C), I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and thoughtful medication management for adults. My family practice background means I look at the whole person — your physical health, your life circumstances, and your goals — not just a diagnosis.
I bring more than 20 years of nursing experience to my psychiatric practice, including seven years as a nurse practitioner caring for medically complex adults and older adults. That depth of experience taught me how closely mental and physical health are connected — and how much patients benefit when their provider understands both. My psychiatric training includes evaluations and medication management for depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and related conditions, in both in-person and telehealth settings.
I believe the best outcomes come from a collaborative, unhurried approach. We’ll talk through what you’re experiencing, weigh your options together, and build a treatment plan that fits your life. I am fluent in English and Swahili, and I’m currently welcoming new adult patients at our Renton office and by telehealth, with immediate openings available.
